Every time we stay we have a wonderful time due to Jo & his wonderful team. We are made to feel so welcome the minute we arrive by happy greetings & friendly staff. Nicki & Rachelle do a wonderful job at the bar & are always happy. The rooms are immaculately cleaned with 5 star linen & air conditioning. The beds & pillows are very comfortable & there is a bar fridge in every room. The bathrooms & toilets are always clean & there are thick white towels which are of high quality. Every meal we have had has been totally delicious & high quality. There are homemade deserts to choose from too. The beer garden is warm in winter with huge heaters & a cool breeze comes through in March when it was over 30*. There is also air conditioning in the main dining too. Kids & dogs are totally welcome. This hotel is a wonderful friendly place to stay in Esk. Always stay in Esk for 2 nights, it is a lovely friendly town. What a disappointment! The woman behind the counter was miserable, no sense of humour, and if she cracked a smile it would probably kill her. So welcoming customer service was not present from the off. We ordered a steak for my wife and a chicken parmi for me. The parmi did not have any flavour at all, certainly not like any I had had before, and my wife's steak was very thin, like a cheap minute steak. Not a place I would recommend if you want quality meals at a good price, and friendly service. You ordered the $20 rib fillet which, until recently, was solely our steak for kids meals and burgers only. Due to it's popularity, we added it to the new main menu by public request as the cheaper steak meal. A 150g steak can never be a thick steak. We do however have a Signature Black Angus Marble Score 3+ Rib Fillet and a Sanchoku F1 Wagyu Grain Fed Marble Score 8-9 Rump on the menu, both are 350g a nice thick steak and incredibly good. Cannot understand how a Chicken Parmy has no flavour. And Finally all our staff are really nice people and would do anything for you. I do not think anyone should be degraded publicly. Rooms were clean and I loved the bathrooms down the hall - a real "back to the '40s experience". Definitely recommend this place. The burgers were huge and we joked with the staff that we wouldn’t be able to open our mouths big enough. We sat outside in the garden which was a lovely spot to while away a few hours. Pintu dibuka, aku pun masuk ke dalam disambut oleh seorang cici-cici dengan pakaian sehari-hari. Tanpa angpao. Tanpa kue keranjang. Receptionist room, RedDoorz Mangga Besar Aku dipersilakan duduk pada salah satu kursi di sebuah ruang depan minimalis, berisi empat buah kursi dan dua buah meja bundar yang ringkas. Aku duduk mengisi lembar data diri yang diberikan, sementara si empunya properti sibuk mengoperasikan sebuah aplikasi dari smartphone. Dugaanku, dia sedang mengkonfirmasi kedatanganku pada aplikasi RedDoorz, mirip seperti yang dilakukan sopir ojek online. Aku memberikan deposit senilai Rp sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada saat menginap bersama RedDoorz. Deposit akan dikembalikan saat check-out maksimal jam sementara waktu check-in adalah pukul tipikal hotel-hotel budget. Seorang bapak paruh baya lalu membawaku masuk ke dalam sayap gedung sebelah kiri yang dipisahkan oleh sebuah toko Indomaret dengan gedung sayap kanan ini. Kayak aku dan kamu gitu deh, dipisahkan oleh jarak dan calon mertua. eh Fasilitas Hotel dan Kamar Pintu gedung terbuka setelah penghuni menempelkan smart card pada penampang metal di kenop pintu. Kamarku ada di lantai 2 yang dapat diakses dengan tangga, tepat di ujung lorong. Pintu kamarnya sendiri dapat dibuka dan ditutup secara konvensional menggunakan anak kunci yang dimasukkan ke dalam lubang kunci. Spreinya rapi, bersih, wangiii Kamar diisi dengan ranjang berkapasitas 2 orang yang bersih, nyaman, dan wangiii. Fasilitas lainnya adalah AC, meja kecil di samping ranjang, TV layar datar, meja-kursi kerja, cermin, 2 botol air mineral, colokan listrik di beberapa titik, WIFI, lemari, dan penyimpanan sepatu. Untuk toiletries, RedDoorz menyediakan body wash, shampoo, moisturizer, dan sepasang handuk. Tak ada tissue dan sandal, aku berangkat dari Bandung dengan asumsi bahwa kedua item itu sudah disediakan di RedDoorz. Untungnya di bawah ada Indomaret, jadi bisa mampir beli keperluan sehari-hari. Interior dan fasilitas RedDoorz Mangga Besar, Jakarta Kamarnya sendiri bersih, nyaman, dan wangi, enak buat liburan sambil kerja atau main laptop. AC berfungsi dengan baik, menyemburkan udara sejuk ke setiap sudut ruangan. TV juga menyajikan tayangan saluran televisi kabel dan nasional yang jernih, nggak bakal bosen di kamar deh! Lemarinya besar, memiliki banyak ruang untuk menyimpan barang bawaan seperti ransel utama, tas kecil, baju-baju kotor, dan alas kaki. Dari sini, aku memahami bahwa konsep RedDoorz ini sedikit unik dari konsep hotel-hotel yang lain. RedDoorz lebih mirip seperti AirBnB, menginap di warga lokal seperti Couchsurfing namun berbayar karena kamar dikelola professional. Bedanya, di sini ada kesamaan brand dan standardisasi akomodasi yang berupa 6 hal di atas. Jadi, setiap pemilik properti dapat mendaftarkan propertinya menjadi Hotel RedDoorz. Makanya, RedDoorz lebih memilih kata “akomodasi” untuk mendeskripsikan dirinya, bukan “hotel”. Waktu check-in dan check-out persis seperti hotel budget yang lain, jadi nggak masalah. Lokasinya strategis banget! Hanya berjarak sekitar kilometer dari Stasiun Jakarta Kota, dapat dicapai dengan TransJakarta dan turun di halte Mangga Besar lalu dilanjutkan dengan sedikit berjalan kaki. Ada juga jalur angkot yang lewat persis di depan hotel, tapi maaf aku nggak hafal angkot jurusan apa, hihihi. Every time we stay we have a wonderful time due to Jo & his wonderful team. We are made to feel so welcome the minute we arrive by happy greetings & friendly staff. Nicki & Rachelle do a wonderful job at the bar & are always happy. The rooms are immaculately cleaned with 5 star linen & air conditioning. The beds & pillows are very comfortable & there is a bar fridge in every room. The bathrooms & toilets are always clean & there are thick white towels which are of high quality. Every meal we have had has been totally delicious & high quality. There are homemade deserts to choose from too. The beer garden is warm in winter with huge heaters & a cool breeze comes through in March when it was over 30*. There is also air conditioning in the main dining too. Kids & dogs are totally welcome. This hotel is a wonderful friendly place to stay in Esk. Always stay in Esk for 2 nights, it is a lovely friendly town. What a disappointment! The woman behind the counter was miserable, no sense of humour, and if she cracked a smile it would probably kill her. So welcoming customer service was not present from the off. We ordered a steak for my wife and a chicken parmi for me. The parmi did not have any flavour at all, certainly not like any I had had before, and my wife's steak was very thin, like a cheap minute steak. Not a place I would recommend if you want quality meals at a good price, and friendly service. You ordered the $20 rib fillet which, until recently, was solely our steak for kids meals and burgers only. Due to it's popularity, we added it to the new main menu by public request as the cheaper steak meal. A 150g steak can never be a thick steak. We do however have a Signature Black Angus Marble Score 3+ Rib Fillet and a Sanchoku F1 Wagyu Grain Fed Marble Score 8-9 Rump on the menu, both are 350g a nice thick steak and incredibly good. Cannot understand how a Chicken Parmy has no flavour. And Finally all our staff are really nice people and would do anything for you. I do not think anyone should be degraded publicly. But we were welcomed on arrival and then given the 3 menus - such a huge choice. The normal menu, the specials for the day menu and the Parmies menu as it was a Thursday night - of course!! Rooms were clean and I loved the bathrooms down the hall - a real "back to the '40s experience". Definitely recommend this place. The burgers were huge and we joked with the staff that we wouldn’t be able to open our mouths big enough. We sat outside in the garden which was a lovely spot to while away a few hours. Di sepanjang jalanan depan bangunan kos-kosan, terlihat ada wanita-wanita berpakaian minim lalu lalang, apalagi ketika malam hari tiba. Di salah satu sudutnya, terdapat bangunan yang disebut dengan Paviliun 42, bangunan kos-kosan yang terdiri dari 28 kamar itu, merupakan tempat tinggal para wanita simpanan, juga wanita malam yang kerap mengais rezeki di wilayah Lokasari, Mangga Besar, Jakarta 42 tergolong mewah untuk kategori kos-kosan, masing-masing kamar dilengkapi AC, serta TV kabel, parkiran di tengah-tengahnya juga cukup untuk menampung puluhan mobil dan motor. Saya sering banget check in di hotel ini dan baru kali ini saya kecewa guys, sama pelayanannya ğŸŽğŸ¿. Kecewa sama pelayanannya ğŸŽğŸ¿. Pertama, air item banget kotor padahal saya sudah telepon ke resepsionis kalo airnya kotor, cuma di iyain doang tapi ga ada reaksinya. Kedua, 3 kali saya telepon resepsionis untuk minta air mineral tapi gak di anter sama sekali cuma di iyain doang/di tunggu sebentar dan saya tunggu lama air meneral tak kunjung dateng juga kalo emang air mineral gak boleh di minta lagi ya tinggal bilang aja ga boleh atau ga bisa gitu ya. Ketiga, pelayanan breakfast nya jutek, judes ga ada smile nya pelayan cowok it’s ok lah ga apa-apa kalo misalnya bawaan lahir judesnya, setidaknya mulut di pake buat nyaut gitu kalo tamu bilang terima kasih. Mas-mas yang antar breakfast ke kamar judes banget padahal saya sudah bilang terima kasih sampe kepala saya nundukin buat ucapin terima kasih, dan saya juga yang ambil makanan dari tangan dia satu persatu. Coba lagi pelayanan diperbaiki lagi ya. Sekian dan terima kasih.
